Entertainment Lifestyle Center
The goal of this project is to create a prototype for redeveloping and remediating brownfield sites into Entertainment Lifestyle Centers (ELC) within the urban fabric that benefit from proximity to downtown amenities and can serve as catalysts for further development. The primary intent for an ELC is to be an entertainment node within the district and city. The key component of this ELC is a Major League Soccer (MLS) stadium that acts as a landmark within the site, district, and region. For this ELC to be successful and active year-round, the site needs to accommodate other supporting uses that synergize with the stadium.
